A downloadable zine

Guests on this land is an attempt by two white jews, Thursday Bram and Meli Sameh, to engage respectfully with indigenous traditions of the lands we reside on by connecting the jewish trees-and-fruits holiday of the 15th of Shevat to traditional foodways. The zine suggests a seder plate of four symbolic foods tying into a four worlds tu bishvat seder structure, art and illustrations of the significant indigenous foods, and a few supplemental essays about the project and the history of jews and indigenous relations in the pacific northwest in particular.
